Born and raised in Revere, MA, Robin being a straight A student through High School, turned down a scholarship to Boston University to pursue an acting career.                                               

She Has one brother, and studied with famed acting teachers Stella Adler and William Esper.                                                                                                                      

Robin met her husband Matt Crane on the set of "Another World". He had asked her out serveral times but she declined believeing they were nothing alike. Nothing came of it until a 1995 christmas party, where she finally accepted and so the heat began. They had their first date in January of 1996 and became engaged at the end of 1998. When TPTB at Another World decided to fired Robin in 1997, Matt quit his popular role in protest. On April 11, 2000, Robin Married her husband  Matt on a cliff over looking the beachy water in Nova Scotia near a cabin they had built.                                                                                                                                     

As fate would have it on the same day that Matt and Robin closed the deal on a home in LA, she was offered to reprise her role as Skye Chandler but this time not in New York with "All My Children" but in LA with "One Life To Live."

Robin is of italian descent. Her Grandfather's came from southern italy and who's last name, DiCristoforio, was Americanized to become Christopher.

Robin has auburn hair and amber eyes.                                                                        

She and Linda Dano have portrayed daughter and mother on three soaps, One Life to Live, General Hospital (Skye and Rae) and Another World (Lorna and Felicia).                                                                                                                                    

Robin is the only actor in soap history to ever play the same contract role, in a long-term capacity, on three different soaps (Skye Chandler on All My Children, One Life to Live, and General Hospital with the added Qaurtermaine name)

After moving to New York, Robin modeled for romance novel covers and various jewelry ads before creating her role on "All my children"  and eventually landing the part of Lorna Devon on "Another World" .                                                                                        

Robin's other television credits include guest-starring roles on Star trek: Deep space nine, Matlock, Vinny and Bobby, and starred in Empire City.                      

In her spare time, Robin enjoys reading, painting, drawing, cooking, and yoga.

She has relocated to New York City from Los Angeles and then back to Los Angeles.                                                                                                                                   

Robin prefers staying home instead of going to parties.                                            

Her favorite movie is Cinema Paradiso and Life is beautiful. Some on her favorite actors list are James Stewart, Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracey, James Dean, Anne Bancroft, and Mickey Rourke.

She has three adored cats named Sasha, Bonu, and Tiger Lily

Robin has been titled as most beautiful, most entertaining, and sexiest star in several Soap opera related magazines

In 1993 Robin played the short term role of district attorney, Abby Mitchell, on General Hospital. Years later she is back portraying once again Skye Chandler Qaurtermaine. Hopefully for a long time to come.
